HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLANS. Here’s “Overalls.” This is a short song that was improvised on 6/17/98 at the Acme Underground in New York City. It was John Flansburgh’s way of copping out of a live performance of “Hillbilly Drummer Girl,” which was on the setlist but replaced with this song. The song’s theme derives from the fact that most of the members of Mono Puff were sporting overalls that night.
